About Hopeful Futures

Message From Our Founder

My name is Patricia Kehren and I am the founder of Hopeful Futures.  The mission of Hopeful Futures is to “plant seeds of hope” that change is possible for everyone. I have seen many times over the years that “sometimes it takes believing in someone before they believe in themselves.” Hopeful Futures strives to change one life at a time by providing the support and the hope that is necessary to make change possible.

For more than 25 years, I have been dedicated to helping individuals improve their emotional well-being and navigate life’s challenges. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of clinical settings, including inpatient psychiatric care, outpatient mental health, mobile mental health services, psychiatric rehabilitation, WRAP services, and case management. These experiences have provided me with a broad understanding of mental health concerns, effective treatment approaches, and the community resources available to support clients in their recovery and personal growth.

I earned my Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling and am licensed to provide counseling services in multiple states. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in Ohio, and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida. My commitment to ongoing professional development has led me to pursue advanced training and certifications in trauma, grief, telehealth, psychiatric rehabilitation, integrative mental health, and nutrition-informed approaches to mental wellness.
